History:
The Hair Design School was established in 1972. Today, The Hair Design School is part of Empire Education Group and its 70-year tradition of excellence in cosmetology education. Empire provides high-quality cosmetology education and a national network of 88 schools, teachers, staff, and students.

We provide training and education that develops your natural creative ability and prepares you for a successful career in the exciting, growing and personally satisfying beauty industry.

Accreditations/Approvals/Affiliations:
The Hair Design School is accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Inc; (NACCAS). The Chenoweth location is also accredited by The Council on Occupational Education (COE). The schools are licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and are certified by the U.S. Department of Education and are eligible to participate in the Title IV Financial Aid programs.
